Our Early Learning Centre provides a Kindergarten program for children aged three to five years old, that is delivered within our long day care program. We focus on developing the whole child within a values focused Christian environment. Throughout the year, the Centre regularly partners with the Primary school to facilitate a smooth school transition.

At Nunawading Christian College’s Early Learning Centre, your child comes first. Our highly trained staff are experienced in early childhood and kindergarten education, ensuring the provision of a high-quality early childhood program for your child.
Early opportunities
Sharing a campus with our school means children enjoy more learning opportunities at a younger age, including Bible, music, science, art, sport, LOTE (Mandarin). When it’s time to graduate to Prep, we find our students enjoy an easier transition as they’re already familiar with the teachers and environment of primary school.
Bush kinder - birralee bundaleer
Bush Kinder was developed in response to research that shows outdoor activities in a natural environment are extremely beneficial to children's health, wellbeing and development. Bush kinder is an education program that is set outdoors so children can connect with nature through play and exploration.
Bible encounters
The Early Learning Centre staff are currently developing and implementing a Bible curriculum called Early Encounters with Jesus which will enable our children and educators to experience and learn more about Jesus in a fun, engaging and meaningful way.
Free Kinder in Long Day Care
Free Kinder helps all Victorian children access two years of a high-quality kinder program before they start school. Enrolling your child in a kinder program for two years helps their learning and development so they do well in life and school.
