Position Available - Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Coordinator

Are you passionate about working with Primary aged children? Do you want to make a difference and work in a caring, Christian school?

At Nunawading Christian College, we are committed to finding the best staff to support our students on their educational journey. We are currently seeking an OSHC Coordinator for our before and after school care, and holiday care programs, commencing in 2024. This is a permanent, ongoing position where you will become a key member of our school community as we provide much needed flexibility for children and their families.

The College offers the following benefits to interested applicants:

  • Salary $42-$45 per hour

  • Split shift allowance

  • Reimbursement for all costs related to First Aid Training and WWCC/VIT registration

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the childcare industry is ideal but not essential.

  • Current and valid Working with Children Check or VIT registration.

To be eligible to apply for this position, you can have or be working towards one of the following qualifications;

  • Bachelor, Diploma or Cert III in Education discipline (OSHC, education support, children’s services, youth work, disability etc).

  • Bachelor of Arts (youth studies, recreation, youth affairs etc.)

  • Bachelor, Diploma or Cert III in Leisure & Health discipline (sport & recreation, leisure & health, outdoor recreation etc.)

  • Bachelor, Diploma or Cert III in Allied Health (audiology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, physiotherapy, dietetics and specialist therapies such as music and movement etc.)

  • Bachelor, Diploma or Cert III in Social Sciences (youth work, social work, community services, welfare etc.)
