Libraries pride themselves on catering to the needs of their community and this is what drives the library at Nunawading Christian College.
The library plays a vital role at NCC. It provides a place where students can feel safe, as well as a place for learning and creativity.
As a community-centred space, the library is often a focal point for both parents and their children, and their children's friends and classmates.
The school library is much more than just bookshelves. It's a safe and welcoming space for students of all ages to learn, relax, and build friendships. The library staff value the opinions of students, parents, and teachers when choosing books and games. This collaborative approach ensures the library offers a diverse collection that caters to everyone's interests. From planned reading sessions to comfy beanbags for graphic novels, the library is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its community. The library's resources are also available online, making it a valuable asset that supports students and staff both at school and at home.
Redeveloped in 2016, to provide a dynamic, blended learning space that supports students in developing deeper understandings. The space is flexible in design, incorporating a variety of lounges, seating booths and calm spaces with an attractive colour palette.
