Introducing Julie Catton, Head of Primary 2023

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Julie Catton to the role of Head of Primary, Nunawading Christian College starting in January 2023.

Julie is currently working as Children’s Ministry Director at the Victorian Conference Office but has accepted the offer to come and join the NCC leadership team in 2023. Julie has a vision and passion for quality Adventist education and has had over 15 years of experience working in the Adventist system, both as a classroom teacher and in various leadership roles. She spent 5 years at Northpine Christian College in Queensland as a Middle School Co-Ordinator and was also the School Co-Ordinator at Toronto Adventist School in NSW.

Julie has a passion for organisational culture and development. She enjoys leading change and empowering people. Having completed further studies in Gifted & Talented education Julie has a passion for seeing students challenged and reaching their potential.

On behalf of all staff, I wish to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Tracie Hailey who has given the last 3 years of her teaching career as Head of Primary. She has worked tirelessly to support the strategic directions of this school and to build on its success. She will be very much missed by staff and students alike.
