Position: Early Learning Centre Manager (2024)

Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Learning Centre Manager to join the team at Nunawading Christian College ELC. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing January 2024.

The Centre Manager is the spiritual and operational leader of the ELC, whose priority it is to ensure the strategic goals of Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Limited are realised. With children being central to these goals, the Centre Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful leadership of the ELC in the areas of: Adventist identity; Educational program and practice; Developing self and others; Quality improvement; Management of the ELC; and Collaborative partnerships with families and communities.

Role Requirements:

• Being a practicing member of Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission.
• Applicants will need to hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and have experience in a Centre Manager or similar leadership role.
• A comprehensive understanding of the Adventist Education system.
• Best practice in learning and teaching strategies, understandings and skills in the area of Early Childhood Education.
• Successful administrative and leadership experience.
• Ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider church and school communities.
• Ability to develop the vision, mission and strategic goals of the ELC and align them with the broader strategic directions of Adventist Schools Victoria.
• Ability to implement processes to manage physical and financial resources in order to effectively deliver the educational programs of the ELC.
