Forest Edge was truly the best camp we had ever been to! It was great timing because NAPLAN the week before so it felt like we had a mini holiday! The aim of Forest Edge Camp was for us to build character, have spiritual growth and challenge ourselves with fun activities! Not one person had a bad time! The activities that we did included archery, crate climb, mountain boarding, camp cooking, hut building, flying fox, low ropes and trampolines! The list goes on and on! Orienteering is Lots of Fun!
As part of our Integrated Studies unit on Sustainability the Year 4W students learnt the basics of orienteering. This is an important skill to learn and can be applied in many situations both in ‘real life’ scenarios or just for fun! The students discovered that a compass is a very handle tool to be equipped with.
