Unpredictable, Rewarding, Fun

What do you love about teaching?

There is a saying that ‘curiosity killed the cat’ but to me, I love teaching curious children. They are wide-eyed with wonder and just want to soak in as much as they can. It is a privilege to be part of the process.  

What is special about NCC?

At this school, I know that major decisions are presented to God in prayer for guidance. This can be done as a whole school, 2-3 teachers or students huddled together, in class, in staff worship or individually. Our school motto is ‘Nothing without God’ and we try our best to follow that.

What do you learn from your students?

To laugh, to forgive, to keep trying and to have patience!

If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be and why?

Maybe something in the visual arts area. A home decor stylist for an advertising company or a food stylist, especially if I could eat all the food I arranged!
